Avariel

In Dungeons and Dragons there is a race of elves called the Avariel: winged elves. This is Rachel’s depiction of what they would look like. Made from 3,000 pheasant feathers, the wings open to a wingspan of 14 feet, yet weigh only 8 pounds. She also hand dyed the clothing to help this depiction blend in with nature.
